Customer Account Manager

You will be providing technical support to MotorDesk users via email, online chat, telephone and video calls. Your goal will be to exceed expectations by providing proactive and enthusiastic support. As well as providing technical support you will assist new customers in setting up the service, guiding them through the initial set-up and fine-tuning the settings to suit their business. As part of this process, you will work to personalise their website using no-code website design tools, giving you a chance to express your creativity.

You will also be expected to provide customer training via video calls, and during quiet periods you will be tasked with writing help content for the platform, including creating help videos.

You're the perfect fit if you...
  • Love technology and web apps, and learn new products/software quickly.
  • Communicate well with a high level of written and spoken English.
  • Take ownership of your work, are self-motivated and organised.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and enjoy problem solving.
  • Are happy to answer the phone and write emails.
  • Are reasonably close to and can travel to Harkstead, IP9, UK.
  • Have a passion for cars, motorbikes, other vehicles, or motorsports.
  • Have any experience of customer service/support, software documentation, graphic/web design, web development, marketing, SEO, social media, the automotive industry, or car sales.
Location
  • Office based (Harkstead, IP9).
  • Long-term hybrid possible.
Starting Salary
  • £22,500 - £27,000 per annum.
Schedule
  • Full-time, permanent.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

  • Negotiable workspace & technology provisions.
